Fun with the Fishes

We got to go to the aquarium while we were in Monterey on Monday. Justin really loved the fish and the pictures of the starfish on the wall. He kept running towards the starfish exclaiming, "Daa!" (meaning dog...apparently any non-human creature is called a dog in his mind right now).



Jellyfish were another favorite with Justin.

The aquarium has a really neat tunnel for the little kids to walk through (and adults to crawl through!). Inside were these little backlit windows of fishies. Justin really liked the clown fish.

These worm-like things creeped me out, but Justin and Dave thought they were really neat. They poked their heads and necks out of the sand vertically and looked all around. Actually, they reminded me of Oscar the Grouch's pet worm from Sesame Street (but not striped and cute).

Justin had fun using crayons to do a rubbing of whales.
