Indian Grinding Rock

On their last day here, we decided to take my parents and Kaitlyn to an Indian historical site called Indian Grinding Rock. It is one of our favorite spots to visit around our area but we don't go all that often. It includes an informative museum, a recreated Miwok village, and a short nature walk through the woods.

The kids worked really hard to earn a junior ranger badge, but it turns out due to cuts in funding they were low on supplies and didn't have any. They were quite disappointed but still had fun.
