Soccer: The Blue Stingrays

This was a different soccer season for us. Justin moved up another level to the U10's (under 10). New rules and a different coaching style than he'd been used to made for a rough start to the year. Throw in 100+ degree weather and several cancelled games due to the Butte Fire and we were two-thirds through the season before the team really gelled. But Justin still was thrilled to get to play on a soccer team and had a great season. He ended up being the second highest scorer for our team and ended the season this weekend with a first-ever tournament. We lost all three games (we actually lost most of our games this season...there were only about three serious  and experienced players on our team this year unfortunately) but the team played hard and had fun!
