After we got home from our Tahoe vacation, we settled in to the rest of the soccer season and finally being able to enjoy the outdoors without melting. Justin and Abby continue to love playing together (although Abby is now quite adept at expressing her own opinions and lets Justin know explicitly when he does something she doesn't like...we are all eagerly awaiting the development of more WORDS rather than the screams, grunts, and ear-shattering "DOH!!" ["NO!"] she uses to express herself currently!! On the other hand, yay for her assertiveness!).
Justin enjoys teaching Abby the basics of playing soccer
It's hard to call Justin back in to do his school work when they're outside snuggling like this!
RAIN!
Justin had a great soccer season; he enjoyed playing defender
Look at that passion!
Justin made a special bubble solution for Abby that you could catch
Abby loves bubbles
Anytime Abby sees me on my phone or tablet, she still continues to ask for "Bubble, bubble, pop!" (There was a little turtle...as sung by Kaitlyn and Elissa this summer in MN). Her word for Koty is "eego!" She throws up her hands as she says it and she looks and sounds like a little Italian! Her word for Justin is either Juh-Juh or Bobbee! (brother). Her word for diaper is "bop-ee-doh" and often she will tell us when she needs to be changed. Her word for cracker is "dop-ee-goh" and it took us awhile to distinguish between diaper and cracker but Justin cracked the code! She's also fond of throwing things over the edge of the table or her changing table and saying "Where'd it go?" It sounds cute, but when she's at the table and she's chucking wet pasta across the room it loses some of its charm :)

Oh, my, but I hope you've downloaded all the pictures and wonderful comments for Abby and Justin when they grow up. They are priceless, Betsy.
