At two years old, Abby is full of life. She is passionate, determined, tenacious, independent, and bright. She has a great sense of humor and loves to giggle and be tickled. She loves Minnie Mouse and "woofs" (dogs) and her favorite activity is swinging. She also loves to dance to music. She loves having me put her hair in "bee-doo" (pig tails) and loves sparkles. She loves running and jumping and seldom sits still. She loves books, but she likes to read them herself, thank you very much! She's quick to kiss when she things someone has an owie.
The English language according to Abby at age 2:
bop-ee-doh = diaper, apple, applesauce (yes, the same word for all 3!)
wee = swing
yie = slide
woof = dog
sit = chair
doh = car or truck (go)
boop = book, boot, broken, fruit, poop (one word for all 5...this leads to the occasional misunderstanding!)
nack = snack/eat
'mon = come on!
bee-doo = pig tails, picture (drawing/coloring)
ahp = help
uh-yah = outside/inside
ee-ah = all done
mee-mee = Minnie Mouse
bee-bee = baby (doll or child)
moe = more
pee = please
duh-duh = Justin
eagle-eagle = water, waterfall
moovie = smoothie
mee-no = marble
mee-noch = Micah (her cousin) AND oatmeal haha!
bah-doh = binky, blanket, bandaid (again with the occasional misunderstandings!)
dah-bee = strawberry
seep = sleep
ih-go = here you go
bess = bless you
dates = thanks
dah-dah-doo = cockadoodledoo
diss = kiss
row-row = boat
I-yie = ice
uh-bee = up, please
bubbee = bubble
And she says clear as day: no (a LOT!), yes, mommy/mama, dada/daddy, key, fish, Papa/Grandpa, Nana/Grandma, eye, nose, toe, owie, hot, shh, and animal sounds for goat, cow, cat, dog, horse, elephant, snake, chicken, rooster.
When you ask her how old she is she says "Doo!" and when you ask her what her name is she says, "Ahbee."
