About 15 minutes away from where we live is a place where old performing animals go to live when they retire (think rich Hollywood actors using "charity" to get some publicity...Bob Barker was the latest to pay for an old elephant to get moved down here from Alaska or something).
Twice a year they open it up to the public (for a lot of money, but we got in free thanks to a friend's daughter who won tickets). Last Saturday we went up to the see the elephants and the tigers. It was a cold, windy, rainy, blustery day (yuck!). But we went anyway.
We had to take shuttle buses to the elephants, then to the tigers, then back to the cars. There was lots and lots and lots of waiting. But Justin didn't mind. He was much more impressed with the mud puddles and the umbrella than he was with the elephants and tigers.
