Art Projects

Justin and I have been doing a lot of art projects lately. It's fun to see his skills and interests progress. Just a few months ago an "art project" would take about 5 minutes until he got bored. Now he'll happily spend up to an hour experimenting and creating with materials. Here are a few of our latest projects:

Painting with "brushes" where the paint is already in the handle

A handprint chicken

Cutting strips of "grass" and adding lizard stickers to hide in the grass

This has been his favorite project so far. He liked it so much he made 3 of them!
They are clear contact paper collages in a heart frame.

A "love bug" (which he calls a butterfly)

And last, but not least, his dump truck carrying a load of hearts
(we're getting ready for Valentine's Day)

I have found most of the inspiration for these activities at http://www.notimeforflashcards.com/
