Because of Justin's numerous food allergies, there is virtually no premade candy that he can have. So we did Halloween with a twist (based on some Halloweens of my childhood): We made special cutout cookies in the shapes of pumpkins and leaves and decorated them with colored sugar that Justin picked out. We then hand delivered them to some families in our church. Justin had a blast and was very surprised and excited to receive candy in return when he said "Trick or treat!" I had made some Justin-friendly candy ahead of time and gave them to our friends at church this morning because I knew they would want to have something for Justin.
