Painting Party

Every square inch of our new house is gray, inside and out: roof, stucco, doors, trim, floor, walls, ceiling, counters, carpet, light switches...we're talking everything! So, needless to say, we have many painting plans. Yesterday we began. And we let Justin help. Yes, we let our 3 year old help us paint the walls of our living room.

And, amazingly, it went very well!

Until he somehow he managed to sit in some paint and then proceed to sit on a piece of furniture.

Thankfully, it was our leather chair and the paint wiped right off. We removed the offending garment and he proceeded to continue painting. He had a blast, the walls got painted, and nothing got ruined! The color turned out a bit more orange than we were expecting, but it's still very nice and it's such a refreshing change from monochrome gray in the house! One area done, 192 to go (just kidding, I haven't actually counted the areas we would like painted).
