The fun in Reno continues!

We were scheduled to drive home today but the weather had other plans. We were more than happy to be snowed in for another day! It has been a true winter wonderland all week...so much fun! Justin continues to have a blast playing with Grandma. However, last night he slowed down enough to sit with Grandpa while he told Justin one of his special stories. Justin sat spellbound during the whole thing. I believe it had something to do with a little boy named Super Justin.


Today we went for a walk in the snow and Justin discovered the joys of eating snow. At one point he told me, "Mommy, did you know that I just love snow?!" He brought a snowball in and Grandma dressed it with (rice) milk and molasses...yum! She has memories of her grandmother putting milk and sugar on snow for her.


Once we realized we wouldn't be able to make it over the pass today we jumped at the chance to go pick out a Christmas tree! Justin quickly found the perfect one for him.


It was a little heartbreaking to tell him we were looking for a larger one but he quickly got excited about the one we're bringing home too.

It's the most wonderful time of the year and we get an extra "snow day" to enjoy it. Yippee!
