Rainy Day Monday

After a weekend of off and on rain, we woke to another blustery, rainy day today. Combined with being a Monday, it seemed like a good idea for some fun activities.

First up: a fort for watching movies

 Then Justin had a "plan" for an art project.

"First, you take a popsicle stick"

"Next, you add some glue."

"See, here's the glue!"

"Then you dip the stick into a jar of tiny beads."

"Tap, tap, tap"

"And there you go, a decoration for a plant!"

He wanted to do more, and more, and more!

Then it was Mommy's turn for a plan. We did a dried bean mosaic picture.

Next up: puffy paint (equal parts shaving cream and white glue with a few drops of food coloring)

He's getting really good at posing for the camera mid-action.

Notice how hard he's concentrating.

Whew. I'm ready for bed and there's still 3 hours until dinner! What next?!
