It's been a slow start to the soccer season. We had one game, then the next game was cancelled due to too much smoke from the Rim Fire. Then came Labor Day break. Yesterday, the smoke was (I thought) every bit as bad as when the other game was cancelled, but the officials declared it was debatable and ended up deciding it was safe to play unless your child has asthma or something similar. So, they played, but Justin only played defense at my request to limit the amount of running he had to do (he does have asthma related to allergies, but he has not had any problems with it for over a year).
Anyway, they played, and they won 4-0! Justin did such an awesome job at defending, our goalie never touched the ball! Go Vipers!!
