We all headed to the coast for the weekend, despite the forecast of rain, rain, and more rain. We booked rooms at Embassy Suites, so we were well covered. After enjoying the pool, workout room, and free snacks the first evening, Saturday dawned sunny! We hopped in the car and started hitting the beaches. It was Abby's first time in the sand and she showed herself to be a true beach baby. She loved it! It was quite windy, and the clouds started rolling in, but it stayed dry all day. After enjoying several beaches we ended up in Carmel-by-the-Sea and stayed for window shopping and lunch. Then it was back to the hotel for naps (for the elder and youngest) and bikes for the middles!
