Part 12: Fort Welikit

To start at the beginning of our trip, go here.

In researching places to stay, we stumbled across a campground called Fort Welikit (prounced "we like it"). They have actual teepees and covered wagons you can sleep in! We reserved a teepee for our 2-night stay in the Black Hills. The campground was complete with a children's fort playground. Justin loved it, and we would definitely stay there again!

Entering South Dakota

Justin was thrilled to explore our teepee. He got out of the car and raced inside to check it out.

Playing at the fort. Justin is stuck in jail :(

Free at last!

The playground even had a miniature teepee to play in.
