Glacier National Park

Ahhhhh, Glacier! It is one of Dave's and my favorite places in the country (that we've been to so far, anyway!). The beauty in the pictures speaks for itself...

Getting closer to those mountains!

Finally made it to the edge of Glacier

There were rocks of every shade of the rainbow

Justin was thrilled to throw rocks in Lake McDonald.

Going to the Sun Road

There was still lots of snow at higher elevations, but it was melting.

Dave and Justin continued on the hike alone after the snow got to be too much for me and my parents.

Justin lounging in a snow bank!

Mountain goat wandering across the trail

Hidden Lake

Justin at the Hidden Lake overlook. The rest of the trail was closed due to bear activity!

The St. Mary Lodge. Very impressive; we would love to stay here next time.

Grandma and Justin played lots of cards.

We had seen 2 bears just before starting on this hike. Justin decided he was too scared to go any further!

Justin skipping rocks on Rocky Point on the other side of Lake McDonald

Gorgeous colors in Lake McDonald

It was sad to leave, but what wonderful and refreshing memories we carry with us of God's breathtaking creation!
