Enjoying Our Saturday

Here's what we're up to today:

Watching scrub jays come take peanuts out of Justin's homemade feeder while Justin practices his photography skills

Flying a kite

Planting tomato and pepper seeds

Working on the new chicken coop (for meat birds)

Not pictured is all the weeding we've done today. We got a week of rain (yea!) and that brought weeds. I have never enjoyed weeding more, though. With every weed I pulled, I sent up a prayer of thankfulness for the rain we received.

Along with all the other things getting done today, the floors were freshly washed and there's a pot roast in the crock pot. Life is good :)
