Apple Harvest

Our apple tree finally took off this year. We were excited to see several apples developing over the summer. Unfortunately we haven't been monitoring their progress up close and the slugs got most of them. But Justin did manage to find three blemish-free ones on a branch that didn't drag on the ground! They are much sweeter than the apples I grew up eating from the tree, but they were a big hit with Justin!

Autumn weather has finally made an appearance around here. I refused to get out our fall decorations when it was 90 degrees out! But today we even had a little rain, followed by a rainbow. Yay!
