We spent Christmas in Reno with Dave's parents and his sister's family. Christmas Eve was a beautiful, snowing-all-day kind of day and the kids (young and old) had a great time sledding, making a snowman, and -most of all- having snowball fights!
This was our last Christmas in the Reno home as Dave's parents will be moving to Texas in the summer. But we packed in as much Christmas fun as we could: puzzle-building, X-box Kinect, games, STAR WARS!!! in 3D and IMAX!!!, slot car racing, shopping, Tom and Jerry's, a martini or two, and lots and lots of laughter. It was Abby's first Christmas and having a baby added to the fun! Grandma taught her how to clap for Patty Cake (Grandma's are so smart!)
Dave's parents surprised us all with a hotel stay at the Atlantis. An all-you-can-eat buffet, arcade games, and the swimming pool/hot tub were favorites there.
Oh yeah, and Dave's back went into a spasm Christmas Eve morning when he coughed (yes, he thew his back out simply by coughing...poor Dave...not even bowling this time!).
