Pottery

Justin's favorite workshop this year at school has been pottery. His teacher pretty much lets the kids do whatever they want. Rather than complete chaos (although there is some of that!), I have been amazed at how much initiative, responsibility, and ownership Justin has taken in learning pottery. He has made multiple pinch pots, coil pots, random squished pieces of clay. He also has made several pieces on the wheel. I am consistently amazed at how well they turn out.

Here is his latest piece, a vase just for me! A perfect place to put flowers he brings me from the yard.
